SALES OPERATIONS INTERN

Location: New York, NY (Midtown) (Hybrid, In-Office 4x/week)

Reports to: Senior Manager, Sales Operations

Job Status: Internship

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Operations Intern will be responsible for supporting the team with long-term projects as well as daily tasks and duties. They will collaborate and communicate with cross-functional partners to meet the team's needs throughout the internship. The ideal applicant for this position is an individual who communicates clearly and effectively, displays a strong work ethic, and has a drive to learn.

  • Duration: 10-week paid internship (M-F, 9-6 PM)
  • Dates: June 3th to August 9th for all interns
  • Pay Rate: $17/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining showroom standards to ensure proper presentation by brand.
  • Assist in organizing sample closet and participate in sample audits/inventory.
  • Fulfilling and shipping sample requests from sales team, Marketing & PR teams.
  • Provide reporting of top sellers by brand.
  • Assist in the maintenance of survey reporting and dealer agreements.
  • Preparation & support for local and domestic sales events.
  • Support the Sales Operations team with any additional tasks or projects as needed.

Are you a proactive organizer, negotiator, and problem-solver? This role involves working with a cross-functional team both junior & senior partners and complex situations. A calm and measured demeanor and positive outlook are critical to success.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Seeking a degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a relevant field
  • Available to work 40 hours/week throughout the duration of the Summer Internship
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to balance priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with all partners and at all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable working in Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize/time-manage, and be highly detail-oriented
  • Legally authorized to work in the US before first day of employment
