This role can be based in New York, San Francisco, Mountain View or Chicago.

LinkedIn is searching for a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing Governance, Risk & Compliance to join our Global Strategic Sourcing Team! We’re looking for an astute, collaborative professional with experience in regulatory global compliance requirement execution, risk management, identification of gaps within policies, processes & procedures and/or auditing who has sound judgement, a natural ability to get stuff done quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will drive forward our Sourcing Risk & Compliance Program, ensuring that LinkedIn is adhering to our policies, processes, guidelines, laws, regulatory obligations, mitigating supplier risk and more. You will help to establish strategy, programs, processes, develop successful change management plans and perform audits to continually measure and analyze progress towards compliance priorities. People leadership is a key part of this role with a high performing team, facilitating discussions with varying levels of the Leadership Team and embracing difficult conversations with ease! This role will partner closely with Global Strategic Sourcing team members, business partners & cross functional teams within our global Privacy, Security, Legal, Compliance, Microsoft and Procurement teams as well as other functional leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Further enhance our Sourcing Governance, Risk, and Compliance Program in collaboration with cross functional business partners ensuring alignment to Supply Chain Integrity and Third-Party Risk Management commitments
  • Keeping abreast of industry best practices related to regulatory obligations and requirements, incorporating these insights into our Risk & Compliance framework
  • Lead a high performing global team with clearly defined goals & objectives
  • Enhance and drive forward our Risk Framework and strategy with cross functional teams
  • Perform & evaluate internal and external audits
  • Proactively build good working relationships with cross functional teams such as Privacy, Legal, Procurement, Information Security, etc
  • Lead change management projects & participate in efforts to streamline our end-to-end Source2Pay processes
  • Assist in defining and implementing scalable policies, templates, processes, tools and workflows to manage compliance, increase operational value and efficiency
  • Rapidly identify, analyze and address complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication to influence outcomes with cross functional teams
  • Embed a superior customer service attitude within the team and deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders seamlessly
  • Develop and disseminate required communication materials to ensure key business stakeholders understand our Risk & Compliance Framework
  • Manage multiple tasks, projects and timelines with a sense of urgency, ownership and within deadline
  • Comprehensive reporting and communication on adoption and compliance of programs
  • Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews and ongoing conversations with governance, risk, and compliance teams to include Global Compliance, Information Security, Microsoft Compliance & Supply Chain Integrity
  • Execute ad-hoc projects related to Strategic Sourcing governance and strategic intiatives
  • Identify new tools, automation and ways to streamline processes, as needed
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in risk management, legal/regulatory, data privacy, compliance and/or audits
  • 5+ years of program management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Experience with the source-to-pay process & third-party regulatory requirements
  • Experience with reporting & data analysis (i.e. Excel, Pivot Tables)
  • Change Management Certification (i.e., Prosci, ADKAR, CCMP)
  • Demonstrated experience in building and scaling risk management or compliance programs within technology sector
  • Understanding of global privacy-focused regulations (i.e., GDPR, CCPA, etc), data processing requirements & terminology
  • Communicates in a clear, concise and timely manner and operates effectively as a team player
  • Ability to take ownership, self-motivate and deliver results in ambiguous environments
  • Resourceful with a strong work ethic and are willing to go the extra mile to get work done
  • Progressive yet practical approach to strategic sourcing focused on unlocking value and improving service
  • Collaborative expertise in process & continuous improvement expert
  • Personable and credible – ability to build productive working relationships both internally with our business partners and externally with our suppliers across teams globally
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, problem solve and make decisions in complex situations

The pay range for this role is $123,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
