Established in 2020, Mini Mall Storage Properties has been successfully acquiring storage facilities throughout North America with rapid expansion in the United States. We have a team of talented and diverse self-storage experts who span across 15 states and 7 provinces to support and manage our rapid growth across North America. With over 50,000 units and almost 8 million square feet of self-storage space, our goal is to make storage simple and accessible throughout life’s transitions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer the Vice President, Business Operations will have the responsibility of supporting the oversight of strategic and day-to-day operations of our corporate support groups. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assess operational effectiveness and identify high-impact opportunities for improvement in customer service, marketing effectiveness, and alignment.
  • Managing the portfolio’s financial performance including budget development and plan execution, profit and loss activities and operating costs.
  • Work with Sr Leadership Team to oversee the day to day functions of Quality Assurance, Marketing, IT, Training, Call Centre, and other support groups to align with operational and overarching company direction.
  • Actively manage reporting teams to promote proactive service, establishing target and key performance goals. This is accomplished by representing, communicating, and promoting corporate goals and engaging your teams in setting specific, measurable objectives.
  • Lead ongoing analysis and improvement of corporate support group’s operations. Refine and implement strategies and processes that adapt with our growth plan and trajectory.
  • Responsible for assisting with internal reporting and preparing the content and visual components of presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Assisting in resourcing, analyzing, and aligning due diligence activities with regards to operational growth future and forecasting.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
  • A Graduate Degree with a concentration in Business or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale corporate and operations teams in the Self Storage Industry, including developing and managing budgets, creating, and executing short- and long-term business strategies and tactics.
  • Strong background in rapid growth organizations, scaling, and setting operational standards.
  • Proven ability to think critically and strategically to see and address issues and opportunities before they happen.
  • Excellent leadership and both in-person and written communication skills with the ability to influence upwards to senior management, laterally to functional peers, field management and international counterparts, and downstream to support and operational personnel.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools as well as excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally as required.
